The board has received two proposals for alternative funding options for the road improvement project.
We are doing a survey to get the community’s opinions on whether to move forward with either of these two funding ideas. This survey is only to gauge if there is sufficient interest and support to further investigate these options. They are not the only options that may be considered and a ballot measure for the road project is also still an option.
This survey is just a first step in the process. We recognize that there are numerous people that don't have access to the electronic survey. The reason for the electronic survey first is that it is fast and inexpensive and can give us an idea if this is worth spending any additional work and energy on pursuing at all.
The survey should just take a few minutes to complete and you can fill it out at this link:

Thank you for your input!

The fact that you say this is the first step in the process is hilarious to me. This has been a 3 year nightmare. Not even close to the first step. Remember that time the board spent over $6k on an engineering report that they tossed and aren't using? And remember that time they spent over $20k on attorneys to validate the process and get a bank to loan money and they bailed on that before a judge gave an opinion? I remember it. First step in the process? I think not, Over $26K in wasted tax payer money disagrees with you.
Hi Tonya, thanks for that information and that is helpful. I have now set question #1 so that it is required to be answered. When we do the final data analysis of the survey questions we will look at site addresses to make sure there are not any duplicates from any lot so there is only one response per lot. The program does not allow you to go back into the survey if you have already completed it as an additional measure of preventing multiple entries from the same person or same lot.
Just FYI, we didn't have to put in our addresses to make sure the survey wasn't being manipulated. I tried to go back into the survey to look at the proposals again but it wouldn't allow me to.
Do You own a Million Dollar home.?Can you donate $50,000? Are you trying to sell your home for $2million?
Those are the money people. We moved here when the roads were red cinder roads and loved it And so did a lot of others. It hasn’t been until the last few years that I started seeing these expensive homes being built and I knew that our neighborhood would change and not necessarily for the better. It is interesting that these people move in for the quiet and the simplicity and then in a very short time they want ………..so sad. Melody Johnson
You did not need to do further investigation on a Ballot Measure. to have put that on the survey. This is ridiculous. You know exactly what that is about. None of you want that so you will do just about anything and I mean anything to not have a ballot measure. Guess what. I am going to fight as much as a none rich neighbor can to get the ballot measure. This is the only fair way. Your way may be legal but it is immoral. It is not fair to those that do not have all the money in the world. I am really tired of you money people manipulating and running this road project. This is all for now!!
