One of our community members requested to see the copies of the assessment validation objections that had been submitted to the court. These objections are a matter of public record so they are being posted here for reference as well. They can be seen on the page for documents on the road improvement project here: https://www.panoramicroads.org/copy-of-documents

I find it problematic that a person that had the road in front of their house treated for dust abatement by the district putting the recycled pavement down (notably at no charge to them), is now suing to stop anyone else from getting the same benefit!!!! That to me seems super selfish. First the board was being threatened to be sued by people wanting dust abatement, now others want to sue to stop it. Good gracious. I can understand that some might be cautious about a new project. Frankly, after a previous board did such a horrible job overseeing the previous road surfacing project and failed to make sure the contractor actually did it right and to even hold them accountable - I am cautious too. The community seemed on board for the (crappy) recycled pavement, but not otta seal? Whatever. All I want is Buckhorn ripped up and gravel put back down. If everyone wants dust all the time, so be it.
It might be beneficial to attach the Exhibits to the objections. That way the community member can see the proof. And in reality, it isn't the entire objection without the exhibits.
My exhibits prove that there has to be a vote of the electors in order to fund the project using a bond, via an email from Tonya Grass from the SDAO. It also proves that the Petition of Validation should not be validated because it says over and over that the costs "may not exceed" the estimated amount when we have been told over and over that the costs will be more then the $5,600. One of the exhibits is the letter from the project update that states, "Unfortunately, that is farto late for any construction to take place this year. And it is guaranteed the project will cost more next year, there's large increase in the cost of oil coming Jun 15'h. It's also unlikely that we will still find 3.5% interest rate." And my final exhibit proves that we did not vote on a bond to fund the project, we voted to "gauge" support. All board members have said this over and over. I am so confused as to why homeowners keep saying we voted and passed the otta seal project. We did not!
I will always be transparent and answer any questions asked of me. And I am completely fine with Whitney sharing my objection letter so quickly with the concerned community member. But from now on when you refer to me or speak to me or about me will you please, for the love, spell my name correctly. I have had countless correspondence with the board and I have never once been so disrespectful as to misspell any of your names. My name is Shiela Gannon.
